Accessibility that reaches everyone, on a real schedule.

WCAG 2.1 AA audits, contrast and readability checks, and ongoing remediation from a team with formal accessibility training. Legal exposure stays low; the site actually works for everyone.

01Why it matters

The visitors who can’t use your site never tell you they couldn’t.

Most websites don’t meet [WCAG](https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/quickref/) accessibility standards, and most owners don’t realize it. The site looks fine to the people building it, which is precisely the problem: the people building it aren’t using a screen reader, navigating by keyboard, or relying on captions. The visitors who do those things either struggle or leave, and most of the time you’ll never know they were there.

There’s also a legal dimension. Accessibility lawsuits against businesses (especially in retail, services, and healthcare) have been climbing every year. The demand letters are real, the settlement costs are real, and the "we didn’t realize" defense doesn’t go far. The cheapest version of accessibility work is the version you do before anyone has a reason to send you a letter.

Real Lighthouse accessibility audits, with specific findings and fixes, not a generic overlay-widget badge.

02What it does

WCAG 2.1 AA audits with manual testing, monthly remediation, and formal training behind it.

We run real accessibility audits against the [WCAG 2.1 AA standard](https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/quickref/), fix the issues as part of the regular monthly work, and keep auditing as new content gets added. Every audit cycle checks contrast ratios, readability, usability, and keyboard navigation. We do not install an overlay widget and call it done, because overlays don't fix the underlying issues and they don't hold up in court.

Our team has formal ADA compliance training, which most agencies cannot say honestly. That changes how the work gets scoped: manual testing on the pages that matter, not just an automated scan dump.

03How it helps

Your site actually works for people who use assistive technology.

Your site actually works for people who use assistive technology. Visitors who would have bounced because the keyboard navigation was broken, the contrast was too low, or the form labels were missing complete what they came to do.

For most clients, the first audit surfaces between thirty and a hundred fixable issues, prioritized so the biggest accessibility wins ship first. Within six months, the site moves from "has known issues" to "documented and substantially compliant", which is the position you want to be in if a demand letter ever shows up.

04Specifics

What’s in the engagement

  • Full accessibility audit against WCAG 2.1 AA: automated scans plus manual testing
  • Contrast, readability, and usability checks on every audit cycle
  • Remediation across the existing site: alt text, heading structure, keyboard navigation, color contrast, form labels, ARIA where appropriate
  • Mobile and screen-reader testing on the pages that get the most traffic
  • Ongoing audits as new pages and content get added, so the site does not drift back out of compliance
  • Formal accessibility training on the team doing the work, not just automated tools
  • Documentation of what’s been done, what’s still in progress, and what the remediation timeline is
  • Accessibility statement on the site so visitors know how to report issues
  • Legal letter response support if you do receive one (with the work documented, the response is straightforward)
